Ingrid is the clinical research coordinator for the Pediatric Heart Transplant Program at the University of Alberta. As a mother, she feels that anything we can learn to assist little people to become big people successfully will help us all.

Her previous work experience includes: transplant coordinator in the Islet Transplant Team which pioneered the Edmonton protocol for five years, coordinator of the Liver Transplant Program from its start to its ninth year, and coordinator in the Heart/Lung Transplant Program for two years all at the University of Alberta Hospital. She has also worked in the cardiovascular and general system Intensive Care units as bedside Nurse and Assistant Charge Nurse at the University of Alberta hospital.
